Lufkin Azalea TrailDescription

Scores of native plants alternate with small gardens of azaleas and ornamental grasses that have been planted and maintained by the City of Lufkin Parks and Recreation Department. Limited to pedestrian and bicycle traffic, the Lufkin Azalea Trail offers benches for enjoying nature along the way. A great spot for birdwatching, too.

Amenities: A 2-mile improved surface trail, security lighting, call boxes.

Location: Kiwanis Park, 401 Kiwanis Park Drive, and Grace Dunne Richardson Park, 200 Mott Drive.

Directions/Map: The trail runs from Grace Dunne Richardson Park to Kiwanis Park in Lufkin.
