Urban Wildscape Trail at the Texas Forestry Museum
Description
Beginning behind the Texas Forestry Museum, the .42 mile Urban Wildscape Trail takes visitors through 3½ acres of mixed pine-hardwood forest typical of East Texas. Native species are identified along the trail and an interpretive brochure pointing out the historic significance of the tree species is available inside the Museum.
Amenities: both paved (ADA-accessible) and natural surface trails; birdwatching, picnicking
