Tyler State Park
Description
A 64-acre spring-fed lake, 13 miles of trails, 100-foot tall trees, and historic structures make Texas State Park a great family destination. Whether swimming in the lake, wetting a hook, wandering through the woods, or relaxing with your binoculars, you will find this one of northeast Texas’ most peaceful get-aways. Its location, just a couple of miles off Interstate 20, makes it readily accessible.

Location: 789 Park Road 16, Tyler, TX 75706
Directions: From Interstate 20 just north of Tyler, take FM 14 two miles north to Park Road 16. Turn left onto Park Road 16 and into the park.
Admission: Open daily. Adults $6; children 12 and under free.
